Pillo Balls & Rod Ends

IKO Pillo Balls are compact self-aligning spherical bushings that can support a large radial load and a bi-directional axial load at the same time. These bushings are classified by sliding surface types, namely, insert type, die-cast type and maintenance-free type.

Key Features

  • Used in control and link mechanisms in machine tools, textile machines, packaging machines, etc.
  • Maintenance free type is best choice for machines in which oil must be avoided such as food processing machines, or machines which cannot be re-lubricated.

Variants

  • Insert Type Spherical Bushings
  • Insert Type Rod Ends
  • Die-cast Rod Ends
  • Maintenance-free Type Rod Ends

L-Balls

L-Balls are self-aligning rod-ends consisting of a special die-cast zinc alloy body and a studded ball which has its axis at right angles to the body. They can perform tilting movement, oscillating movement and rotation with low torque, and transmit power smoothly due to uniform clearance between the sliding surfaces.

Key Features

  • Very economical bearings
  • Superior wear resistance assures stable accuracy for long periods of time, and maintenance is simple
  • Widely used in link mechanisms in automobiles, construction machinery, farm and packaging machines

Variants

  • L Balls
    • Metric Type
    • Inch Type
  • I Balls

Rod Ends for Hydraulic Components

Rod ends consist of a housing which has an eye-shaped head with integral shank, and a standard spherical plain bearing. As a rule, these rod ends are available with left or right-hand female threads. LS rod ends for hydraulic components are specifically designed for applications in the hydraulic sector, especially as a swivel or clevis head for hydraulic cylinders.

Key Features

  • Specifically designed to cater the hydraulic segment.
  • Highly economical.
  • Suitable for plug and play applications

Variants

  • Weldable Rod Ends
  • Threaded Rod Ends
